Today was a whirlwind tour of Rome. We saw all the main sights: The Colosseum, Vatican City including the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s basilica, the Castel Sant ‘Angelo , the angels bridge, the Panthenon, and finally the Trevi fountain (and all sorts of things in between). It was so amazing to see so many ancient things and so many awe inspiring works of art and architecture in one day. Really, it was incredible. Every direction you looked was something exciting. Oh, and we had the best gelato ever from I’ll Gelato do San Crispino.
