This morning we headed to Pisa to see the leaning tower. There isn’t much else in Pisa to do or see, so we pretty much left right after visiting the tower. Back in Firenze we headed to the Uffizi gallery where there were many famous works to see- mostly sculptures and paintings. The star of the collection is a painting called The Birth of Venus (a theme we would continue to see in other works of art). We stayed there up until they closed and then headed back to the hostel where we hung out for the rest of the evening.
